Crayons??? Crayons??? Crayons???

Just one of many reasons my mom takes home the award for " Best Crazy Mom Ever". She is addicted to crayons. Period. She will buy a pack of crayons all for herself. Then, when she gets home, she opens the box and breathes in deeply.

She LOVES the smell of a box of brand new crayons. Crayons period for that matter. She says the smell of crayons is one of her favorite smells in the world. I smelled the crayons. Not exactly one of my favorite smells....all in all...this was a pretty random post...more to come in the future

35!!!!

That was how many mountain dews were devoured(correctly put), by seven people(by 5-7 people)between the hours of 4:00 pm in the afternoon, to 4:00 am in the morning. It was INSANE!!! 3 hours of paintballing and airsofting, followed by an all-nighter filled with O.Ding on MD, chips, truth & dare, chips, and waaay too much Super Mario Smash Brothers Brawl( thanks to nathan's Wii).

This is a video of everyone the morning of the all-nighter, and how many MD's they drank.

RELIENT K ROCKS!!!

Since my video uploader thingy is having problems, I am just going to post more pics. These particular pics are recent pics of my FAVORITE BAND IN THE WORLD, RELIENT K!!!!! Relient k is a christian punk, rock band that has been around since their formation in 1998. These are the band members starting from the top left going from left to right: John Warne(bass, back up vocals), recently added Ethan Luck(drummer),now at the bottom left, leader of the band, Matthew Theisen(guitar, lead vocals), Jon Schneck(guitar), and Matthew Hoopes(guitar, backup vocals). Only Thiesen and Hoopes are left from the original core four.

In this pic, John Warne is in the tree for some reason, I'm not exactly sure.

This is probably my favorite pic. I just like the color and the woods background.

Everyone else is doing it, I might as well...

post some PICS!!! Here are some pics i took recently.

We saw this on one of our trips. It looked like a bolt of red light that went from the clouds to the ground. And it stayed like that for about five to ten minutes.I have never seen anything like it. It was pretty cool.
This is my dog, Buck. he is the cutest old dog in the WORLD!!! And he is also the friendliest by far, I put it this way to a lot of people. He would lick the robbers hand and invite him in to the house.
This my favorite little brother(ignoring the fact i only have one). He will be three tomorrow, March 13th. And i love him, a lot....especially when he's asleep.

Nicknames....

can be good and bad. Nicknames are very interesting. I have seen that in most cases, you do not pick your own nickname. It is gracefully 'bestowed'(heavy, heavy sarcasm) upon you by friends or whoever happens to be giving you this name. Some nicknames, come from things that person does or says, or looks like, or even acts like.

But in some cases, like mine, the nicknames are pointless, and make zero sense. And the people who gave you the crazy nickname in the first place, are crazy themselves. Oh, and don't even get me started on nicknames your family or grandparents give you. Those are almost always the worst and most embarrassing.

"Reality" vs. actual Reality

It's funny. It really is. Things truly aren't always as they appear. "Reality" is not always Reality.

I have had the....um..pleasure of staying with several families for extended periods of time. And during that time I learned some things about those families I would have never otherwise learned. I mean, how we see people in public is not always how they really are. Most people can easily put on a fake smile, maybe not say some things they would say at home, or even just act a little different.

When you are around people for long periods of time, you see who they really are. Now, I am NOT saying everyone is hiding something, or even acting differently in public. But, I would say most of us act differently, even if it's just the smallest thing. We do and say things at home we would not normally do and say in other places, like in public. We feel comfortable at home.

And don't even get me started on my siblings. Huh! You think they are just so sweet and cute. You just come to our home for a day and you will see who they really are. SCHEEMING, WHINY, ANNOYING, URCHINS!!!! Oh, don't get me wrong, I love my siblings a lot. I just lik'em best when their sleeping!!

And, for the other side of the aisle, I would also say for most, average young people, that we say and do things when our parents (yes i did just use the 'p' word) are not around. But that is a topic for another post.

In the end there really is no point to this post. No deep theological reasoning behind it.(not that any of my posts ever had these things) I just felt this was an intersting topic that applied to the majority of people...wow...i talk waaay too much.
