It's funny. It really is. Things truly aren't always as they appear. "Reality" is not always Reality.
I have had the....um..pleasure of staying with several families for extended periods of time. And during that time I learned some things about those families I would have never otherwise learned. I mean, how we see people in public is not always how they really are. Most people can easily put on a fake smile, maybe not say some things they would say at home, or even just act a little different.
When you are around people for long periods of time, you see who they really are. Now, I am NOT saying everyone is hiding something, or even acting differently in public. But, I would say most of us act differently, even if it's just the smallest thing. We do and say things at home we would not normally do and say in other places, like in public. We feel comfortable at home.
And don't even get me started on my siblings. Huh! You think they are just so sweet and cute. You just come to our home for a day and you will see who they really are. SCHEEMING, WHINY, ANNOYING, URCHINS!!!! Oh, don't get me wrong, I love my siblings a lot. I just lik'em best when their sleeping!!
And, for the other side of the aisle, I would also say for most, average young people, that we say and do things when our parents (yes i did just use the 'p' word) are not around. But that is a topic for another post.
In the end there really is no point to this post. No deep theological reasoning behind it.(not that any of my posts ever had these things) I just felt this was an intersting topic that applied to the majority of people...wow...i talk waaay too much.

Yeah that is like so true....and yeah siblings can always put on an act when they go out in public but as soon as they are safe at home...the BURST out their true colors!!!
I'm quieter in public, for fear making myself seem like a total idiot. That's the only real difference.
And my only sibling is almost twice my age and evil and scheming at times. But I miss her after not seeing her for several years. (Things when parents aren't there... Haha. Yeaaaaaaaah. ^-^")
You think you talk to much!? Noo, boyy, you don't talk too much. Not at all.
I try to let people see my true colors. I can't always be Mother Theresa incognito.
HAHAHA, she says i don't talk too much. That obviously shows her lack of time around me...HAHAHA
I meant not an overload of talking, because you do talk a lot (that's not a bad thing, in your case). Nothing compared to my mother though.
But he does talk...alot and ALOT!!!
Not trying to be mean.
Yes, everyone puts on their faces whether you would like to or not. I don't like it. I've wished and sometimes still do that I could be siblings with everyone.
so true. good deep thought.
that would be FREAKY!!!!
Yes, but the people would get to know you for who you are, and I would get to know people for who they are.
