in the mood? WHAT MOOD?!?!

christmas.....i really don't know what to say.It was here, and now it's not.Here and gone, just like the wind.Everything's back too normal. Back to monotonous,boring,average life....with nothing more than objects and pictures to remind you of what was. And for my christmas, there wasn't EVEN ANY SNOW, NO SNOW!!!! WHAT KIND OF A CHRISTMAS IS THAT!?!?!?!....in fact, i'm not even sure there was any snow in MT either from what I heard...i dunno...idk,idc really...

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHH!!!!!

Christmas is a mere four days away.WoW.Can you believe it?!? It's already Christmas time...the time of red,gold, and green, ridiculous amounts of money spent on decorations,great food, and 15 versions of the same Christmas song, with half of them sounding the same....i love Christmas.One thing lacking from my Christmas though was snow.Unfortunately, there is no snow where I am in the state of CA, and if you didn't know any better, you'd think it was fall.............................

But, oddly enough, I'm not that sick of Christmas music yet, usually around this time I'm so sick of it i could punch the radio......ah, anyway...people are rushing to buy gifts and there will be panicked people all the way till the night before....oh, i love Christmas.....but, i miss my friends....

I have two of his cd's,seen all his videos, and I have seen him live in concert. I will never doubt his Christianity. He reps God in his lyrics,the way he acts, and the words he speaks.

I lOVE MASHED POTATOES!!!

oh, they are soooo good, garlic especially.The food this Thanksgiving was oh so tasty.Mashed potatoes,green bean casserole,a 20 lb. turkey,fresh rolls,berry jello,salad,beets,brussel sprouts,homemade gravy,homemade stuffing,pickled okra,homemade apple and pumpkin pie, and good ole vanilla i scream.Yum-me!!! And an average age of at least 55 years, if not older. My personal favs were the mashed potatoes,rolls, DARK turkey meat, and the apple pie........cool beans dude!!!

Facebook is addicting!!!!!!

But I will fight it! I will admit, I have joined the millions of people on Facebook, BUT!! I will continue to fight the addicting draw of Facebook!So that my faithful readers who have, are(i hope the think so), and will continue to read quality posts with good regualrity........*smh*.....Its funny.
We were halfway to Church, when my mom said, STOP!!! We stopped. She had realized that she was wearing two different shoes. both were brown, but both had completely different styles. She had put those two different shoes on to help her decide what pair too wear. I guess she still hadn't decided.
So we drove back, and she got the other shoe. To this day I still believe she would have driven all the way back FROM Church has she not noticed the problem till we got to church.

Whats worse?Wearing different gloves? Or different shoes?

Where in the world are those plates?! Exasperation was beginning to set in. It had been 5 minutes since I had begun looking thru our boxes for our plates and I was sure the casserole was going to burn. We had just moved from Miami, Florida, to a little town called Bigfork in Montana. My wife and I had wanted to move into the country for quite some time now. My wife had never liked living in a big city and its crowded, crime-filled streets. And now that we had two young ones with a third one on the way, she had started looking for a house in Montana where her parents and my mother lived. She also thought that moving to Bigfork, with its total population of 3,500, would give us more space, and be a better place to raise our kids. More family-oriented she always said. So I had had applied for a number of jobs, and finally got one as the editor of a newspaper there that was distributed to the valley that the town was in. I quit my job as a columnist, used the money we got thru a garage sale to help buy a trailer, sold our house, and off we went.
I was tired. My wife had been gone for several hours over at her parents who she hadn’t seen in more than three years. And if I knew my wife, would not be home for several more. As I began to open more and more boxes, I saw an oddly shaped box stuffed in the back where light refused to penetrate. Since the garage did not have any light because the light bulb was burnt out. I had left the door to the house open to let in a little bit of light. Because it was in the dark corner of the garage, I couldn't’t read what was written on it. So I brought it out into the light. I could hear the kids laughing in some corner of the house doing God-knows-what, so as long as they weren’t complaining of hunger pains or screaming bloody-murder, I had time to burn. I was reminded of how fast time goes when I had to pull out my reading glasses to read what was written in the box. It said “Johns stuff “. I don’t remember putting anything in this box, but who knows with my wife having packed most everything. I opened it up. It felt as if my childhood had come up and smacked me in the face. Inside the box, wrapped in bubble wrap, was my grandfather’s WW2 helmet. He had never told me how he was able to keep it. I was surprised how my wife had gotten a hold of it. I carefully took it out and looked at it in the dim light.
I was slightly surprised at how good a shape it was in for being over 50 years old. But, on the other hand, why should I be? As a child I had watched over and over my grandfather take it out and gently clean it. As I looked over the helmet, memories once distant and idle became active and soon escalated to a frenzied storm in the front of my mind, giving me a temporary escape from the present moment. As my fingers drifted over the rounded shell, I could still feel the many imperfections that dotted the dark, mossy green helmet. Three dents stood out from all the rest. As I felt them, they each, separately told a different story. Many a time I had heard my grandfather tell me about those three dents. Each story was different. And I never got tired of it. I still remember sitting at his feet, listening, captivated by the same stories, over and over. The first dent was the one he told me about the most, probably because I had thought it was the most exciting.
He had been there on D-Day. He was on the third wave of men to storm the beaches. It came after his unit has just made over a mound of sand and grass and was now lying in a crater, previously home to a pocket of five German soldiers they had killed. The crater offered temporary reprieve from the flying bullets. As they were lying there, waiting for more directions and reinforcements, one of the men who was particularly covered in dirt, blood, and sweat, took off his helmet and was wiping himself down with a handkerchief. Now, he couldn't have known, but in front of them, slightly to the left, hidden behind sand bags that blended into the real sand, was a German machine gun. The Germans saw them, but my grandfathers unit did not. My grandfather was about to likewise take his helmet off when the hidden Germans opened. The man with his helmet was killed instantly; my grandfather got hit in the helmet, but was uninjured. His helmet saved his life.
The second time was the biggest lesson learned. His unit had just taken a strategic spot in a cluster of trees that had taken many men to win. It was dark as a ravens feathers, and they had beaten the Germans back. Time to relax, and make toasts to the fallen. The fire was going, casting its light over everything. Making shadows look like soldiers, playing with your mind. Cards were being dealt, meals being eaten/cooked, and letters for home being written. Confident no more action would take place, many had taken their helmets off, and fallen asleep. My grandfather however, was one of the few who left their helmets on. It was about 1:00 in the morning when they hit. A whole unit of Germans. With revenge and surprise on their side, the quickly caused damage. Caught unawares, many were in killed, only six, including my grandfather, made it out alive. When he later did take his helmet, he found out to hi s dismay, that amongst the adrenaline, and fighting, and a bullet had hit his helmet. That made twice that his helmet had saved his life.
By now, I was usually beginning to fight drifting off, but I always persisted he finish the stories anyway. He always did. He was at camp, back from the front lines a ways. Two weeks away from going home. Another battle fought. More lives lost. Far back from the lines, there was little chance of being ambushed here. At least that’s what they thought. About diner time, an alarm rang thru camp. Grandfather looked at the sky, the feared German bombers where here. He ran for cover as the bombs fell. One of the bombs fell a little too close. Five minutes later he awoke, too red vision, and ringing ears. As quick as they came, they had left. There was screaming, smoke, fire, and running.Off in the distance someone was crying for his mom. He sat up, wiped the blood away from his eyes. As he did, he saw, it. A piece of heavy shrapnel lying right where his had had been. He slowly took his helmet off and looked at. Even with the helmet on, it had cut his head open. But this day, my grandfather says if he had not had his helmet on, he would have been killed. Three times. My grandfather would always say, the devil tried three times to kill him, but failed each time. He always claimed that was something he and Jesus had in common. That and having the uncanny ability to always be right.
I woke up to my son hitting me on the shoulder asking when we were going to eat. Right now, I said. I slowly sat up and shook the memories away from my eyes. I carefully put the helmet back in its box. As I stood up, I could smell something burning. It was the casserole, now thoroughly ruined, I was sure of it. I grabbed the magnet off the fridge with the local pizza place’s number on it. Oh well, I told myself, what is the phone for?

I am standing at the door after hitting my head on a skillet(boy, do I feel awake), thinking, in my life I need to forget and not slow down. Then I get in my Reliant k car and drive past a red, pillar(turning radio on means end of silence), on my way to confessions. On my way back thru town, I look up and spot something in the sky( what a beautiful hawk....NELSON, WATCH WHERE YOUR DRIVING, mercyme!, sometimes,with all that is within me, I would just love to....well do it). When I get home, as I watch as cites burn on tv, my wife says,come now sleep.

Do you believe in Heaven??? Well, if you do, then you agree with the majority of 15 other major countries, along with ours.( i just LOVE readers digest). Reader's digest recently posed that question to 16 countries, and all but one(always at least one rebel huh) agrees that there is a Heaven. Tho, I'm really not sure what this says about these countries spiritual state.Anyhoo, here are the numbers.

Musically, this past month has been AWESOME!!!! My personal favorite release was by my fav band Relient k. My " Honorable Mentions" would be Pillar's new release called Confessions and KJ-52 with his latest full length release. Standing, Always Standing

Yes, there are many forms of persecution. Here is a excerpt takin from the late great Dc Talk's book called, Jesus Freaks( I extremely encourage everyone to read this book, it will change how you view your world).

Now, in today's world, in most countries, we are not persecuted in this way for being Christians. But persecution is still happening today even here in America. Persecution is happening on a much larger scale. People are becoming more open against God and Christians, for example: tyring to get the phrase " In God We trust" taken out of are national anthem and off our coins and currency. All across the nation, schools are being told not to start off the day with prayer, students are discouraged from wearing things that openly proclaim their Christianity like necklaces or clothing. Politicians all across the states have/are trying to remove things like a Ten Commandments memorial off public or government land.These are only a few of the examples of persecution in today's world. And not just in America, oh no, these type's of things are happening all over the world in places like Europe, Canada, and other bigger countries. My message is this, we need to stand up against this, speak out, all the while standing firm in our faith and our God. We must not let these problems stop us from spreading the Gospel.

Desperate Times, Desperate Measures

Well, I couldn't think of anything to post about, so I surfed the web for a bit to see if i could find some good little stories. I was not disappointed. Here are two interesting stories.

Just recently, a woman,Gloria Ballard, was arrested for spanking ANOTHER parents two year old. As the story goes, Mrs. Ballard, decided something that the two year old said annoyed her, and she proceeded to spank the child twice across the bottom. Note to Mrs. Ballard: how about you reserve dishing out spankings to your OWN children, I mean ,c'mon lady, how not smart(notice i refrained from saying dumb) can you be?!

How many children are a good number for a family, 1,3, 6, nooo, not for this family.The Duggar family in Tonitown, Arkansas have made it public that that Mrs. Duggar is now 2 1/2 months pregnant with their 19th child. let me repeat that. They have NINETEEN, 19, children.WoW. If you have an opinion on this story, look at my poll.

Well, all in all.....

Life is good. Our government is roughly 11 TRILLION DOLLARS in debt as of September 12,2009, and it increases by roughly 3 BILLION DOLLARS EVERY DAY.Unemployment is at a 26 year high rate of 9.7 %.Our country is in the hands of communist. Our country may be the picture of imperfection in all it's entirety.But life,my friends, life is still good. What does it matter that our President thinks that a 900 BILLION dollar plan, " will not add a dime to our debt". Who cares!!! We will just continue to go about living our oober comfortable, air-conditioned( i am NOT saying A.C. is bad) lives as if nothing was the matter.Sometimes i think some of us think that the debt is just going disappear one of these days, well guess what, IT WON'T.The countries we borrowed from are going to want their money back. This younger generation and their children will have to pay thru the nose to pay it back too them. But hey, like I said...

Life is good.

Out with Freedom, In with Prison(aka school)

Summer, the time of warm weather, lots of sunshine, days at the lake,sleeping in, and our obsession with being tanned(well, at least i like to be a little tanned),is coming to a frenzied end.People rushing to milk every last drop of fun they can out of summer.And with the end of one thing, always comes the begining of another, in this case two things, me favorite season, Fall, and ,for most people between the age of 6-22, SCHOOL. School is here, and it will not leave for a very long time. Oh, how i wish it were not so.

I will continue to dislike snakes!!


Yesterday, we received quite a scare. My dog, Buck(you have seen pics. of him before here), was nosing around by the pond on the property and met something unexpected. My mom, sis,bro, and grandpa were down by the pond with Buck, when they saw him jump back out of some tall weeds, while yelping VERY loudly multiple times.When they saw him, he had two puncture wounds(Small holes) in his nose. In the 60 sec walk from the pond to our trailer, his the area between his eyes and his nose was starting to swell. In fifteen minutes that area was puffed up and the rest of his face was swelling as well.IN twenty min. his face had swollen a lot, by the 35. min mark he was VERY lethargic,did NOT want to move at all, very very mild(he was a completely different dog) his eyes basically closed because of swelling, and he looked like this(picture).....
Now, fortunately, we were able to take him to the vet. where they gave him some shots to get the swelling down, and some medicine to help him out. Of course, we did not get anti-venom because he didn't need it, and because it cast 600 dollars to get anti-venom for him. Thankfully, the shots helped, he is doing a lot better, and the swelling has gone down extremely. God answered out prayers.
p.s. i will have and audio of me on the radio here in a couple of days.

OH YEAH!!!

I WAS ON THE RADIO!!!!!!.....it was AWESOME. Remember , i just recently posted about me possibly being on the radio. Well today, at about 7;30 this morning, I went to KRBS(name of radio station) and helped Andre(sports guy) gather stories then went on air with him and did the sports section, which lasted about 15 minutes. It was awesome. I was kinda nervous at first but, i felt great by the end. And i tell you what, it is addicting, you do it once, you want to do it again and again. And if that wasn't cool enough, I get to do it two times a week on Tuesday and Thursday. He said i could do it every day, but i run the other three week days in the morning, and it would be too much gas spent on one thing. I am very excited, i can't wait to do it again.

OH, and 1 more thing, this is my 50th post....YEA....

Absolutely Ridiculous!!!

Okay, here is one of the many problems with teens today(some of my friends have heard me talk about this before). Lets say for example you, whether boy or girl, become friends with someone of the opposite sex. And you begin to hang out with them, not a lot, just more than you used to while not being friends. Here is the problem. I think that there is an invisible time-line(limit, whatever you want to call it) when it comes hanging out with the opposite sex, that has been created by teens. I think that when you cross that line, they automatically think you like that person.That is where the problem arises. So what if you hang out with a friend of the opposite sex a lot. So what. That does not mean you" like " them.And that is what teens assume. As soon as you start spending too much time(in other peoples eyes) together with that other person, people start teasing you about whether you "like " that person. In some cases you may " like " that person, but in most cases, i believe that not to be that case.

I mean, this sort of thing just annoys the heck out of me. I have experienced this multiple times. I make a friend, one of the opposite sex, we hang out. Then after not too long, my other friends started saying i liked her, and that was not the case. We were just friends.But, anyhoo, more too come on my theories about problems with teenagers.

My sister got her first big "boo-boo" today about an 2 hours ago. Me, my mom, my bro and sis were at a school playground playing. It was time to go, so my mom says my siblings can have one more go at the slide. Jaclyn instantly starts running to go up the stairs of the play structure to go one last time. But, as Jaclyn was coming to the top, she tripped and wacked her forehead right were on the corner of the top step. WHAM. She starts crying, this time louder than usual. As i am walking over to her to see what was wrong, she looks up and blood is gushing from her forehead. Now, any injury to the head will cause more blood loss than usual. Because of all the blood, we could not tell how big the cut was.



Now, it just so happens that there was a Fire Department building right across the road. Sooo...my mom grabs Jaclyn and hurries over there as fast as she dared. Fortunately, there were two firemen there and they quickly attended to Jaclyn. Jaclyn, after the initial crying was very quiet and calm(probably helped that my mom was also very composed). After a few minutes, the firemen determined that the cut was not deep enough nor big enough to require any stitches or anything like that. After about 15 min-20 min. we decided not to go to the hospital(it was a head wound), and just to go home. After we got there i took some pics. and Jaclyn even smiled a bit.
The pic. on the top left, the little dark spot on her forehead is the cut. the people in the pic. top right, are my grandma,mom,and Jaclyn,that red stuff on my mom's arm is NOT juice(what do you think it is), and then Jaclyn is looking in the mirror.






This is SOOOOO cool!!!

See...i want to be a sports radio broadcaster. Mainly for three reasons, i like to talk(as you all know) and i like sports and to talk about sports. Sooo... my mom found out about this small radio station in Oroville called KRBS. They allow people to come and take a look around, well my mom was able to get me there to meet with the guy who does the sports news and regular news for the station. Well, the guy(Andrew P.) is going to let me come(any day of the week) to the station and help him gather up stories for the news(sports & non-sports), and has even offered to let me do the news(live-on-air) occasionally for the station.
All-in-all in i am pretty excited about this opportunity.Andrew seemed like a nice guy and was very encouraging about getting started at an early age. Oh, and the weather has been very nice recently, staying relatively low and even in the 80'3 and 70's during the day, so that is nice. Anyhoo, TTYL.

Knowing!!!

That is a really creeepy movie.The movie 'Knowing' is what i like to call ''cc''(creepy and cool).I mean, it's one of those suspense movies that can keep you on the edge of your seat, not in a horror way but in just a creepy way, a could-be-scary-to-some-people-way.I recommend it to only people who are not afraid of that dark...well at least not a lot.(that being said, I am waaaay afraid of the dark)

And one of my fav actors stars in it,Nicholas Cage( most recently from National Treasure 1 & 2). If you are not really into end of the world stuff, this movie might not be for you, but then again, it's all relative. I mean for example, to me the Texas Chainsaw Massacre is a waste of time, and it would scare me stiff, on the other hand, some people love horror movies like that( if you like horror movies,you should be admitted).

TV,Cell, or Web?

Here is another Reader's Digest poll(have u noticed i like Reader's Digest yet). If you had to give up one of these three things:TV,Cell,or Web(Internet),which would it be?

For me, it wouldn't really be a hard decision. I mean, i communicate with the cell, i also communicate with the web(among many other things), the TV really has only one use, it is a drug(my dad calls it the 'plug-in drug'). I mean,yea we occasionally gain a tidbit of useful info here and there, but other than that, it is pointless/(that said,i still enjoy watching some TV). Sooo...all that being said,for me, the TV is going byby.

Horrible Oroville

IT IS SOOOOOOOO HOT DOWN HERE(in California)!!!! Holy cow(cows are not holy,unless you shoot it)(that was lame). Anyway,it is sooo hot down here!For the past week the temperature has been in the low hundreds(99-1005), now this upcoming week it is supposed to be in the high hundreds(106-110) and even 114 on this upcoming Saturday. That is just ungodly. I mean, you can't walk from one place to another without sweating. All that to say this, if i had to chose between a cold state or a warm state(generally speaking), i would definitely chose cold. It's not even a choice really. Can you believe this, at 11:00 at night it was 79 degrees! That is just wack.So, i guess it just comes down to this, Hot or Cold?

Ice Age 3

On Sunday afternoon, I walked into a theater feeling pessimistic, and questioning whether or not i should actually spend money on it. I walked out of the theater with a huge smile,laughing, and feeling like had not wasted my money. Ice Age 3 is the best the best of all three. The first one was good, the second one was not(aren't most sequels bad), and the third was awesome. I encourage everyone to see it. It is leaps and bounds better than the first two.It was absolutely halarious.You will be laughing your head off(at least i did, my friend had to sow it back on) the whole time. And seeing it in 3D wasn't bad either. It was my first 3D movie in the theater, It was awesome(i already said that didn't i).

It's here!! The 4th of July!! Today is the day for fireworks,parades, and lots and lots of red,white,and blue.And in honor of today, i have posted the preamble to the Declaration of Independence.

The world is a better place!!







Mere words cannot describe the feelings i felt when i heard these words, " Michael Jackson is dead." My plethora(am i using that word right) of feelings can be best described this way, ' question(how,when,where,who),(i am not sure if this is the right word, but i will use it anyway)happiness(the world is good to be rid of him), and even,surprisingly,a faint hint of sadness(that life left a human being,and what is in store for him),and of course,following that was wonder(how can i feel that way about such a person).


I think we can all agree, Michael Jackson was a horrible, evil,perverted,person, and he deserves punishment.Despite all that, the reality of where he will spend eternity, can, i believe, allow us to feel just the smallest amount of sadness, in the reality how Satan can so twist a human being .For such a fate i wish upon no person,no matter how they deserve it(except maybe Hitler).
He started out as an innocent boy with amazing talent for singing( I admit, i like some of the Jackson 5's songs). But as we all know, fame,fortune,and money, can make even the most innocent person go bad. What a wasted life.

MONTANA PEOPLE....

I MISS YOU GUYS SO crazy much. It has been really bad down here without you. I don't think i will ever find a Youth Group i like. I Miss...Krys, you and all your bad jokes(and Mexico hugs, tho, i don't miss those that bad really) and NO, i have not found a HB yet but i am still looking. Kryssie, your quiet friendship. Top Five Things I Hate about California

1. The weather...OMG is it soooo hot down here, i think we have already broken the 98 degree mark

2.Weeds...there are weeds everywhere, you name it we got it, thorns, the whole nine yards

3. Population...c'mon people, there are people everywhere, it's ridiculous, it makes me feel claustrophobic, and with people come gangs, weirdo's, creeps,serial killers, and just plain scary people.

4.Laws..it's crazy down here, you can't pick your nose without having to pay money or get get a permit or something crazy.

5.It's not Montana..i know, i know, this last one is kinda lame, but hey, i just miss montana a LOT right now.



These are not in any paticular order, but, if i had to pick my least fav thing about Cal...it would probably be the extreme population...i mean c'mon..it's sooooo unsanitary

Crayons??? Crayons??? Crayons???

Just one of many reasons my mom takes home the award for " Best Crazy Mom Ever". She is addicted to crayons. Period. She will buy a pack of crayons all for herself. Then, when she gets home, she opens the box and breathes in deeply.

She LOVES the smell of a box of brand new crayons. Crayons period for that matter. She says the smell of crayons is one of her favorite smells in the world. I smelled the crayons. Not exactly one of my favorite smells....all in all...this was a pretty random post...more to come in the future

35!!!!

That was how many mountain dews were devoured(correctly put), by seven people(by 5-7 people)between the hours of 4:00 pm in the afternoon, to 4:00 am in the morning. It was INSANE!!! 3 hours of paintballing and airsofting, followed by an all-nighter filled with O.Ding on MD, chips, truth & dare, chips, and waaay too much Super Mario Smash Brothers Brawl( thanks to nathan's Wii).

RELIENT K ROCKS!!!

Since my video uploader thingy is having problems, I am just going to post more pics. These particular pics are recent pics of my FAVORITE BAND IN THE WORLD, RELIENT K!!!!! Relient k is a christian punk, rock band that has been around since their formation in 1998. These are the band members starting from the top left going from left to right: John Warne(bass, back up vocals), recently added Ethan Luck(drummer),now at the bottom left, leader of the band, Matthew Theisen(guitar, lead vocals), Jon Schneck(guitar), and Matthew Hoopes(guitar, backup vocals). Only Thiesen and Hoopes are left from the original core four.

We saw this on one of our trips. It looked like a bolt of red light that went from the clouds to the ground. And it stayed like that for about five to ten minutes.I have never seen anything like it. It was pretty cool.
This is my dog, Buck. he is the cutest old dog in the WORLD!!! And he is also the friendliest by far, I put it this way to a lot of people. He would lick the robbers hand and invite him in to the house.
This my favorite little brother(ignoring the fact i only have one). He will be three tomorrow, March 13th. And i love him, a lot....especially when he's asleep.

Nicknames....

can be good and bad. Nicknames are very interesting. I have seen that in most cases, you do not pick your own nickname. It is gracefully 'bestowed'(heavy, heavy sarcasm) upon you by friends or whoever happens to be giving you this name. Some nicknames, come from things that person does or says, or looks like, or even acts like.

But in some cases, like mine, the nicknames are pointless, and make zero sense.And the people who gave you the crazy nickname in the first place, are crazy themselves. Oh, and don't even get me started on nicknames your family or grandparents give you. Those are almost always the worst and most embarrassing.

"Reality" vs. actual Reality

It's funny. It really is. Things truly aren't always as they appear. "Reality" is not always Reality.



I have had the....um..pleasure of staying with several families for extended periods of time. And during that time I learned some things about those families I would have never otherwise learned. I mean, how we see people in public is not always how they really are. Most people can easily put on a fake smile, maybe not say some things they would say at home, or even just act a little different.



When you are around people for long periods of time, you see who they really are. Now, I am NOT saying everyone is hiding something, or even acting differently in public. But, I would say most of us act differently, even if it's just the smallest thing. We do and say things at home we would not normally do and say in other places, like in public. We feel comfortable at home.



And don't even get me started on my siblings. Huh! You think they are just so sweet and cute. You just come to our home for a day and you will see who they really are. SCHEEMING, WHINY, ANNOYING, URCHINS!!!! Oh, don't get me wrong, I love my siblings a lot. I just lik'em best when their sleeping!!



And, for the other side of the aisle, I would also say for most, average young people, that we say and do things when our parents (yes i did just use the 'p' word) are not around. But that is a topic for another post.



In the end there really is no point to this post. No deep theological reasoning behind it.(not that any of my posts ever had these things) I just felt this was an intersting topic that applied to the majority of people...wow...i talk waaay too much.

Such deep thoughts....

Well, I have another thought for y'all. I am in a class called "A Biblical World View" and in that class we discuss how we get a Biblical world view. In the class, we recently talked about a intersting subject that I wanted to get your guys thoughts on. Lets say for example, you are a Christian and live in Germany during WW2 and you are hiding Jews in your house. The S.S. comes and demands that you tell them where the Jews are. Do you lie, and say you have no Jews in your house, or do you say i am not going to tell you and leave the rest up to God?

Now some people say that if you lied to the S.S. agent, you are still obeying God because the Bible says you should obey God's law rather than man's. On the other side, some people say that you should have faith in God and leave it up to him what happens and not lie. Now, I have looked this subject up in my Bible and here's what I found.

In my MacArthur Study Bible, it says in Acts 5:29 " But Peter and the other apostles answered(to the high priest) and said, We aught to obey God rather than men". So I looked at the side note for this verse and it said look at the notes for Acts 4:19. So I did, and here's what the verse said " But Peter and John answered and said to them, "Whether it is right in the sight of God to listen to you more than to God, you Judge". I looked at the side notes (and i tend to think MacArthur knows what he is talking about) for that verse and it says " Christians should obey governmental authority, but when government decrees are clearly contrary to God's word, God must be obeyed''.

Now the Bible also says in numerous places that you should have faith in God and trust in him for all things, for example Mark 11:2o-24, Psalm 31:23, and numerous other places.

Now I personally think it would be okay to lie to the S.S. because I think we can all agree that Germany's government was in the wrong with the killing of the Jews who had done nothing wrong, and clearly went against what God says. Even though we can only speculate about what we would do in that circumstance, we can only hope we would all make the right choice.

GO CARDINALS!!!

The Super Bowl is today, and I am typing this 1 hour before the game. I shall be rooting for the Arizona Cardinals. Actually, I will be rooting specifically for Kurt Warner who is the quarterback for the Cardinals.

Kurt Warner is a dedicated christian. He has publicly made his beliefs know to the world. He uses the publicity he gets for his football to praise God, and he continues to play football for God. He has even written some books about how he balanced his walk with God and football..... Go Cardinals!!!

Long time no post....

Sorry bout not posting in a while. I have been extremely busy doing.....well, whatever it is that I do. Anyway, I have been thinking about a ? that was brought up in my high school Sunday school class,and I would like you guys to tell us me thoughts on this subject.



Can someone be a "christian" and still believe that abortion is acceptable? Or can someone still be a "Christian" and believe there is more than one way to heaven, like thru different religions?



For example, in one of President Barack Obama quotes,( I am not trying to really pick on him, he just happened to be a person high up in the public spotlight who had this view) He says " I am a christian, I am a very devout Christian.." and he goes on to say that he believes in the whole death, burial, and Resurrection of Jesus Christ. Now the ? that was brought up was, how can he be a christian and still accept abortion? I think if someone had any concept of what the Bible says about abortion,(which i think is essentially murder), and even the ten commandments, you would realize that abortion is wrong. The Bible says when you become a New person, you put away the old person and everything that is ascociated with the old person.



Now another thing that I have heard that Obama has said is that He thinks that abortion is morally wrong, but, if he outlaws it, it will still continue to occur, and end up taking place in the alleyways and in unsafe places, which will cause more of the women who are having abortions to die. Some people think that is a coverup, some believe him. It doesn't matter if it's all a lie or not. It does matter tho, that in the U.S. alone approximately 3,700 aborions take place every day, and almost 1.37 million every year. 42 MILLION take place every year world wide.

Soo.. anyone who proclaims to be a christian, and yet still accepts abortion as okay, I will forever question how strong that person's relationship is,if they really have one, with God.

LONG LIVE SACRED GERMANY!!!

Valkyrie was AWESOME. That was one of the best movies ever. Or at least in the top fifty. It was awesome.(did i just repeat myself) I did, whoops. Anyway, if u haven't seen it, u should.Tom Cruise is the main star, and he does really good job. He plays a german captain who trys to assinate Hitler( may he never rest in peace). It's rated pg-13, but only for slight language and a good bit of violence. It has a really good ending. But it was still a really good movie.

Another movie i wanna see is Seven Pounds, starring Will Smith. It's from the creators of The Pursuit of Happiness, which also stars Will Smith. (it's also a really good movie that i recomend that is a great family movie).

I love watching movies, wait, let me rephrase that, I really love to watch movies. My favorite actor is probably either Denzel Washington or Will Smith. Will Smith was really good in IROBOT. My favorite type of movie is fantasy, well i like to describe them as realistic futuristic fantasy. Movies that are fantasy, but take place in a futuristic setting, and could possibly happen...... WOW, that was my longest post by far. Well, anyway....... LONG LIVE SACRED GERMANY!!!!

AAAAAHHHH!!!! RUN FOR YOUR LIVES!!!!......wow that was really random. But of course, we all are a little random sometimes. I am a master at phsyco-babble. I invented. The definition of Phsyco-babble: The art of talking about completely random, pointless, and wacky things, sometimes at the most unusual times. Of course, my theory, which many of you have heard, is that everyone in the world today is a little weird, it's just the people who won't admit it who are the really weird ones.
